“Grab somebody, go and live it up!” with my favorite tracks right now

Rihanna – Numb (feat. Eminem) & Lost In Paradise.

Unapologetic is very similar to Talk That Talk, they are not great albums but they have a few really good songs! Numb, Diamonds and Lost In Paradise are all perfect song choices for Rihanna’s vocal register. Numb is my current favorite numero uno! The beats are craaaazy sexy right from the start until the very end. What can I say, I’m completely sold! Eminem in my ❤

Icona Pop – Ready For The Weekend

GAAAH! obsessed, obsessed. This is a pure party song that doesn’t have party beats that become annoying halfway through the track. I’m stunned! “Grab somebody, go and live it up!” I love the reckless feeling Icona pop is spreading with their flawless debut sophomore album that was released yesterday.(go and buy it!!)

Lana Del Rey – Cola

Lana is without no doubt one of my favorite artists! Cola is her next single from the Paradise edition of Born To Die (that has no bad songs). Jesus christ, I thought that she wouldn’t be able to release new songs that are on the same musical level as “Ride”, but she surprised me once again! Cola is BEAutiful

•Nikki Williams – Kill, Fuck, Marry

This is a new rising star with a bright future! Kill, Fuck, Marry is like a great combination of Kelly Clarkson and Lana Del Rey. I especially love the intro and the chorus!

Girls Aloud – Something New

I don’t know what sort of magical curse United Kindom has, but great acts and songs JUST KEEP ON COMING! #thebritishinvasion. Girls Aloud are one of the best girls groups ever and that is partly because of their work with my favorite producers Xenomania! They never dissapoint when they put their forces together, which we clearly can hear in their latest co-operation SOMETHING NEW. BRING ON THE GIRL POWER (ps. the video is one of the best in 2012)

Christina Aguilera – Let There Be Love

I would like to apologize a litte bit for my rejective review I wrote a few days ago. Lotus in not that bad.. Please accept my apology with this little entry ❤

Legendtina is back with a not so legendary album..

In the beginning of  2o12 I listed the albums that I were most excited about. It was Madonna’s MDNA & Christina Aguilera’s Lotus, they however turned out to be two of the worst releases.

When Christina released “Your Body” back in September I was thrilled! It was a true signature mark of my favorite diva and vocalist (sorry Adele). I knew it was going to flop though  (because of the boring current trend of generic mainstream dubstep dance music). Then when the video came out I was even more stoked! I loved the pink, the dreadlocks, the setting and the plot. Everything was perfection. ❤

A couple of days ago Lotus leaked, but when I listened to it I wasn’t feeling it at all. I thought that Lotus was going to be a 2.0 of Stripped (one of the best albums ever), but oh dear I couldn’t have been more wrong.

Let me summarize what I think about Lotus in one sentence: It is an attempted “Stripped”, it has the (ex.Beautiful)power ballads “Best Of Me” and “Sing For Me” and (ex.Dirty)fierce empowerment tracks like “Red Hot Kinda Love” and “Your Body”, the only problem is just that none of them are even half as good as the originals. The album is weak and also boring.

The only tracks that I can imagine myself listening to in the future are “Your Body” (“Cease Fire or Just A Fool”) and “Best Of Me”. It is a pure fact that Bionic flopped and completely understandable, but I think that Lotus actually is capable of doing worse. Who knows, maybe Lotus will give us a new definition of “flopping even harder” when it is released in a couple of days. Let’s wait and see!

My advice to all of my fellow Legendtina fans is to put Stripped, Burlesque and Back to Basics albums on repeat and not lose faith, maybe there will come a day when Christina will release good music again. </3

The Saturdays – Turn Myself In

I am very happy atm!

One of the reasons for that is because the Sats have released their studio version of the beautiful epicness “Turn Myself”, which was written by Chris Braide (Lana Del Rey, Diana Vickers). I have repeated this song 50 times since I first heard it yesterday (like a boss).

I think that they should have released it as a single instead of 30 Days! It’s way too good to only be treated as a B-side :(. What makes Turn Myself In so extremely awesome is that it really shows that the girls are capable of stunning harmonies, all of their different vocals had time to shine aswell! My favourite part is the bridge that Una sings at the end, gosh she has never sounded this good! Raspy vocals in my ❤

<3“You hear the sirens go…hoo, ooh, ooh!“<3

Crystal Kay – Take It Outside

OMG! this track by japanese pop star, Crystal Kay is amazing! I never thought that I would like a J-POP artist *.*

Take It Outside is like a power pop song with an extremely catchy chorus. I would have cried of happiness if she would have recorded it in only english

anyways here it is:

Inna – Caliente

❤ ❤ ❤

I really like Inna’s style of dance pop music, it’s completely different compared to the sound of Calvin Harris and David Guetta. When you listen to Inna’s music it feels like summer all over again, even though it’s -15 C outside. 🙂

Her “I am The Clubrocker” album was AWESOME, I still listen to at least one song from it every week!

I think that I maybe am a little bit behind, but yesterday I discovered her new single “Caliente” and guess what?! it’s muy bien! Puedo entender casi todo la cancíon sin google translate. La pictura del single es maravilloso, perfection  😉  INNA FOR THE WIN!

Icona Pop – I Love It

Whop whop! I have discovered a new awesome girl duo and a huge awesome thing about them is that they are swedes!

Icona pop is sort of a indie-dance-pop group and their single “I Love It” is EVERYTHING you ever could have wished for and more *.* <3! it’s so catchy, energetic, flawless, wild, free…… IT MAKES YOU WANNA GO CRAZY AND LOSE CONTROL!

The song was written by Patrik Berger (the mastermind behind Robyn’s Dancing On My Own).

<3″You’re from the 70’s, but I’m a 90’s bitch.” Probably the best lyric ever created.<3

Big Hoops

I Love Nelly Furtado’s music video to Big Hoops! It’s so original, creative, new thinking and innovative! The reason for why I have respect for Nelly is that she is one of few who actually have managed to create her own artistic personality, she is unique and not obsessed by media’s attention. It’s very refreshing to hear music that is different from the mainstream dance music that is produeced nowhere and everywhere. The video made the song much better and the reason for that is that Nelly conveyed the swag aura like a goddess!

It makes me sick that it hasn’t been watched more than 200 000 times. What is wrong with the youtube audience? Justin Bieber’s  Boyfriend is NOTHING to see.
